The official website of the Chicago Bears reports during Tuesday's visit to snowy Chicago, free-agent QB Jake Plummer (Cardinals) toured Halas Hall and the Bears' new stadium and met individually with GM Jerry Angelo, HC Dick Jauron, OC John Shoop and new quarterbacks coach Greg Olson. Plummer had visited the Broncos on Monday and was believed to be leaning in that direction before arriving in Chicago. "It's a two-horse (race) right now," Plummer told ChicagoBears.com. "I'm very impressed with what I've seen today. Now it's a matter of just if I can find a moment or two to clear my mind a little bit and do some serious deep thinking and weighing some pros and cons, I think hopefully the decision can be made here soon." Plummer said he hasn't set a timetable to make a decision but hinted that he could sign with the Bears before leaving Chicago. He's scheduled to fly home Wednesday morning.

und: nicht ich mache es spannend, sondern jake - the snake. tut mir leid, dass ich dadurch die draft etwas aufhalte, aber da ich normalerweise ja immer sehr schnell drafte, habt ihr hoffentlich verständnis dafür, dass ich zumindest einen ersten trend von plummer abwarten will.
