Good news and bad news wrapped in one post:

The bad news is that Devin (Goon Squad) has decided to leave the league due to a lack of time to focus on his team. He's been with us from the beginning of the league so it's a shame to see him go. Best of luck in the future Devin, thanks for playing with us this whole time.

The good news is that we quickly found a new owner, Jake. Some of us know Jake from our other league (NSFF - Okeechobee Brahmas) and he's looking forward to this dynasty IDP experience. Welcome to the league Jake.

We have had trouble getting ahold of Lorenz (Weimar Meat Ballers) this offseason and are concerned that a lack of a competitive lineup each week will unfairly imbalance the results. To combat this Uwe and I deliberated over three options for how to proceed until we get some clarity on his situation (short of replacing him, but we will cross that bridge if it comes to it):
1. utilize ESPN's full autopilot which adjusts lineup and performs adds and drops
2. commissioners decide upon starting roster based on ESPN points projections, but don't make any adds unless absolutely necessary to avoid an invalid lineup (e.g. no healthy kickers)
3. no changes at all (100% tank)

After looking at the pros and cons of each option we decided upon option 2, for us to manage the roster until we get a sign of activity from the owner.

We will keep you updated if something changes.

We have no news from Weimar, and no team movements have occurred on his own accord. At this point we have to assume it's an abandoned team and we will start looking around for a new owner.
